They fit to size and are very roomy in the toes which I like, however, the softness of the leather means it is very thin. On one shoe the leather is so thin that the whole top of the shoe is ruffled, not smooth. I have worn them once for 2 hours and my feet did not hurt at all. Some of that walking was on cobblestone pavement. For me, the leather is too thin.
